The fine folks at The Sweet Setup have an interview series with people about the hardware and apps they use, and now it’s my turn!
Rene Ritchie at iMore invited me to square off about Google Glass, default iOS apps, Chromebook Pixel, multitasking, my old G5 iMac, and more. If you’re wondering why I sip my beer so much, I’m trying to take a drink for every stupid ‘um’.
David “MacSparky” Sparks asked me about my homescreen (I bucked the trend and went with my iPad), favorite apps, what I’d change about iOS, and more.
If that isn’t crazy enough, he actually published my response.
Guess that lesson from An American Tail held up. We can’t be right all the time.
Yes, we, dangit.
So, Shaun Collings, a buddy of mine in the motion graphics industry out in LA, looked me up a while back and says “hey can I use your name in this project I’m working on?” I said sure, why not?
He didn’t offer much in the way of what the project is, which meant that I either really did want to know or perhaps should never, ever know. I gambled and went for the former.
I asked what he meant by “project.” He tells me “oh, it’s just a special feature for the Tron: Legacy DVD.”
Turns out he wasn’t kidding. I don’t want to spoil what the special feature is, because it sounds kinda cool (I don’t have the DVD yet and haven’t seen the special feature itself; I just got a description from Shaun). But, erm… Achievement Unlocked: I’m in the new Tron: Legacy DVD.
